This display case is really nice and seems to made of good quality materials except for the drawer bottoms. They are a hard thin piece of fiber board stapled on. Other than that, I would recommend this case to anyone. Excellent Display and Storage Capabilities. I already had one of these for storage of my pocket knife collection and when the collection outstripped its capacity getting another one was a no-brainer. It has a great deal of capacity and is well-made. The only disappointment was that I ordered the light oak to match my original which was confirmed on the invoice but for some reason the package contained the dark oak model instead. It wasn’t worth the hassle of returning it so I didn’t. High quality display case. This is a very nice display case for a reasonable cost. My only criticism is that the engraved plate was separate from the box. I would have liked it to be attached to the box already. I also did not realize that formaldehyde was used in production. Very impressed with how nicely it is made. With all the drawers, he also stores other keepsakes. The box came in quick.. It is a lot larger than the pictures show, those must be large knifes in the pictures.. Had a kind of large crack on the back side corner of the box, but since its on the back, my dad didn’t worry about it.. The front customized plate was a little too large so it hung off the front of the box a tiny bit, but my dad is going to take it and bend it over the edge so its more formed to the box.. Overall, its a beautiful piece and I will definitely get another one if needed. I bought two of these for my husbands knife collection. Not only can you put knifes in them but coins and watches or just about anything that will fit. They are well constructed. This display case was a Christmas gift for my son, a knife collector. It’s beautiful and very well made and my son loves it. My only complaint is that the packaging, although very well done to keep the case from rubbing or moving about, left a gap between the box and the case itself on the sides.
