The top has 7 solid wood pillars to prominently show off your favorites with an acrylic cover to protect them from dust. There are 12 more slots in the felt lined drawer underneath as well as a larger area for small fixed-blade knives or other EDC gear. The acrylic cover is removable to access the display on top. I ordered this at the beginning of September and it’s just a little too big for what I wanted. It’s sat in one spot on an office shelf for the entire time with 6 knives in it between the top and drawer. No damage or scratches anywhere, just some fingerprints on the acrylic.
