Vintage NEW – Anton Wingen Jr. 4-piece Carving Set & Hinged Storage Box – Circa 1955 This item has never been used and the carving knife is still wrapped in the original wax paper from the factory (as pictured). Handles are embellished with stag antlers and brass rings/end caps. Carving knife – approx. 12 1/4″ long with a two-color etched blade depicting wild game scene and stamped “Solingen – Germany – Stainless. Sharpening Steel – approx. 13″ long and stamped in the steel “Solingen-Germany. Serving Fork – approx. 11″ long with spring loaded build-in stand, etched with image of multi-point buck, and stamped “Stainless Germany. Poultry Shear – approx. 11 long with spring loaded open and lock to keep closed. Dimensions: 14 1/4″ x 8 3/8″ x 2 (36cm x 21cm x 5cm). Brass toned latches and hinges. Lined with green satin and soft cushion lid, accented with rope piping. In excellent condition with original sales tag remaining on one end (see pictured). Light discoloring on satin at hinge point (see picture). Paper on the bottom of the storage box is lightly scuffed (see picture). This items has been stored since 1955 when my parents received it as a wedding present. They never used it. Item comes from a SMOKE-FREE and pet-free environment. Overall condition is excellent as pictured.
