All the handles are in great shape and have no cracks, stains, etc. The wood box has some signs of wear on the inside, between the knife slots. The outer wood finish of the storage case is in very good condition and only has a handful of slight dings, but none deep enough to penetrate the finish. This is truly a beautiful set!
